Control Room Puzzles — Wiring & Panel
Step-by-step solutions for the Electrical Switchboard and the Electronic Panel in the Mortuga's control room.
Electrical Switchboard
The switchboard has numbered nodes and three colored connectors. Route each connector to both of its nodes:
| Wire | Shape | Connects nodes |
|---|---|---|
| Red | Triangle | 1 & 9 |
| Yellow | Circle | 4 & 6 |
| Blue | Square | 3 & 11 |
When all three paths are live, the panel lights up and the Captain's Log drawer unlocks. If a light flickers, you have a node wired to the wrong connector — swap only the flickering pair.
Tip: node 9 is easy to miss because it sits behind the lever. Rotate the camera with right-drag before you start.
Electronic Panel
This second puzzle is a weight-balancing mini-game:
- Drag the tiles onto the rail so the left and right bars sit level.
- A soft chime plays the moment the weights are correct — there is no on-screen "solved" flag, so listen.
- Once the chime sounds, the Handheld Radio drops into the tray.
The trick is to place the heaviest tile dead center first, then balance the two sides with the lighter pair. If you hear a dull thud instead of a chime, one side is overloaded — shift the outer tiles inward.
Why It Matters
Both puzzles gate the same corridor: the switchboard restores power (opening the log), and the panel recovers the radio (the only way to call the surface and trigger the finale). Solve them in order — switchboard first.
